Tuesday’s Round

Playing golf during these times of social distancing has changed the way I play golf. Instead of trying to play with several friends, I’ve been playing solo. I tried walking, but not getting to the gym has impacted my fitness level. I walked 18 a two weeks ago and developed a blister on my right heel. All the benches on the course had been removed. Sitting on wet ground was not fun. But I put on a large bandaid and made it to the turn. I rented a golf cart. The carts are carefully sanitized and I limited my contact with the cart. Instead of using pencils and score cards, I use my iPhone with an app. Riding solo. Remember to wear SPF 50 sunscreen and protect your eyes with polarized  sunglasses to avoid Sundance to your eyes. This is a cup limiter. The course cuts those foam pool noodles to make the cup shallower.  Carry hand sanitizer and use it often during the round.
